AMY WINEHOUSE ...
Winehouse quits V Festival...

Troubled star Amy Winehouse has pulled out of the V Festival and has cancelled all of her gigs for the rest of the month.

A representative for the jazz singer said that her touring schedule had been put on hold so that the singer could 'address her health issues'. The spokeswoman also confirmed that the singer would not play at either festival site in Chelmsford or Staffordshire. The 23-year-old had been taken into hospital last week suffering from 'severe exhaustion' according to her record label but it was widely reported that the star had taken a drugs overdose. The Back to Black star was then said to have checked into a £10,000-a-week rehab centre in Essex, along with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

She left the centre on Wednesday but insisted that she had not quit rehab and had simply popped home to pick up a guitar. Talking outside her home in Camden, north London Amy said: 'I'm fine. I've put on half a stone and I feel fine.' And in response to whether reports of her drug abuse were true or not, she said: 'I wouldn't say so, no.' Blake admitted that his wife had 'a few problems' but insisted she was determined to get better. He added: 'It's not as bad as everyone thinks but she's fine, she's loved and looked after.'
